Who We Are

Soldadera Coffee is a family-rooted business created with one purpose: to share a unique cold brew that not only tastes incredible but also carries a story of strength, heritage, and community.

Our inspiration comes from our grandmother, Cristina—a fearless woman who stood for justice in Mexico. She was a social and political activist who fought against inequality, especially for women, with both a fiery spirit and a compassionate heart. Cristina showed us that one person’s courage can make a difference, and her legacy continues to guide everything we do.

Our Inspiration

Some of our earliest memories are of waking up before sunrise, traveling with Cristina to Mexico City’s beautiful Spanish-style cathedrals. As soon as we stepped off the Greyhound buses, she would set up carafes of steaming hot Café de Olla and offer it freely to the community.

On those chilly mornings, with the aroma of cinnamon and spices filling the air, we learned something important: coffee can be more than a drink—it can be an act of kindness, a way to bring people together, and a symbol of care. That’s the spirit we pour into every can of Soldadera Coffee today.

Every sip is meant to transport you to the vibrant heart of Mexico, where flavors are bold, culture runs deep, and women are the backbone of families and communities.

Our Purpose

Soldadera Coffee is more than a beverage—it’s a movement that honors women.

Women represent 47% of all U.S. employees, yet their voices and rights are still challenged far too often. From inequality in the workplace to larger social issues, women continue to face barriers that should no longer exist.

We believe it’s time to change that. By sharing our coffee, we’re also sharing a message: women matter, their voices matter, and their contributions shape our communities every single day.

When you enjoy Soldadera, you’re not just drinking coffee—you’re joining a legacy of courage, resilience, and progress. Together, we can uplift women’s stories, celebrate their strength, and brew a better future.

Soldadera Coffee: Inspired by tradition. Powered by women. Shared with our community.
