We had a blast at SECOM Resource Center's inaugural WHATCHAMACALLIT Holiday Networking Gig, our last big event for 2025.
A ton of go-getters like us woke up early to mingle at Mammoth Distilling in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a morning networking and community fundraising event with Soldadera's coffee, breakfast bites, DJ vibes, business connections and holiday fun!
The fundraising goal was $5,000, but the event surpassed expectations, raising $6,100 in support of SECOM Resource Center — exceeding the goal by more than 20%.
This wasn’t a standard fundraiser — it was a networking experience with heart, blending social energy with a local cause. We were proud to stand alongside supporting organizations such as JH Realty Partners, Navisure Insurance Group, Cloud Cards and the Oakhurst Group.

South End Community Outreach Ministries (SECOM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Grand Rapids. Its mission is to provide help and hope for local families through food assistance, education, nutrition support and community programs.
Its programs include a Healthy Food Pantry serving individuals and families in Kent County.
The money raised helps SECOM stretch resources further (especially during the holidays) because of its local partnerships and the purchasing power of food pantry donations.
